Path of Sin bug?

I can't get the Path of Sin quest to start. I've just done the mission where your rescue Gill from aliens after scanning the holy cow. But I'm not offered the next story quest.

I had a look at someone's lets play and for them they get a message about "The Flaming Sword" as soon as they go into hyperspace. But I'm not getting that message

anecdotally it took a while for that quest to pop up for me, (few days I think...maybe a week?) I just tootled around thumping pirates and making some profit buying and selling before it popped up, So I don't think its necessarily bugged just yet....how long you have to wait before accepting it is busted on your playthrough is an open question though...

I'm already definitely a few days past finishing the mission. Not sure how many but enough to dismantle a few derelicts at least. And on the youtube video I saw it was instant. So I'm not really willing to wander around indefinitely not knowing if it will ever trigger
