It'll come off on it's own and he'll be fine, nothing to worry about.

Yes, nothing to worry about...
I watched Alien (1979), I have my doubts about that :-D
Without spoiling anything, I'd suggest to keep an eye on the crew person that got it, especially on what they say in one of their info tabs.
wow, again 2 ppl that answer a question that isnt asked and ignore what is asked...:steamfacepalm:

to dont be like this 2: the parasit is storeable in a corpse storage, if you have a composter it can be used to fuel it.. its handled like human corpses or alien corpses.

Or you can also turn it into monster meat on the autopsy table.

Both the Composter and Autopsy table need to be researched first.
You can also vent it to space: Select your ship, click “Eject”, find the corpse in the list, move it to the right, and click “Accept”. One of your crew members will carry it to the airlock and vent it.-
1) Select a ship
2) Look at the bottom, there's 'move item' and 'move corpse', these should be what you need for cleaning ship, though I had a composter by the time I noticed them so I haven't tried it. You can also build a body storage, but that's kind of totally useless unless you have a ton of corpses.
The quickest way to clean up corpses is to have an autopsy table researched and built, you can then set it to be able to dissect certain corpses, one of which is the face hugger), it'll be done automatically if there is a corpse of that type and when a crew member isn't busy.

Yea...no. You are kind of wrong. As I try to say it politely... But, yea. Wrong.

I mean, I'm not going to straight up say it here, but... Corpses in storage are basically in stasis. They can't DO anything. I mean, after all, what kind of corpse would DO anything after all, right....

Also, for no 'this may cause problems' corpses, like, say, those pirates... If you do not have a corpse storage, and you don't manually eject them every now and then, they sit in the airlock output tile(s), taking up room and actually really kind of dinging your logistics.

Of course, you can solve this by just not looting any corpses. But, honestly, FREE STUFF. Just plop a composter ( I prefer two, one for biomatter and one for 'meat') and enjoy the slow (very slow) trickle of goods. I mean, free stuff, ya know.

i have two ships and use a body storage because i want my ship to be partially infested by aliens.
