How do you get more of those dead stuff? Chimp bots are like 2 in max in a derelict, I feel like I have 1% corpse recovery chance. Tried stun guns to see if I can do something, nothing it seems. How do you raise your chance? or is it just luck?
Also, where are the "Android"s?

Well, thats sad. Time to hunt more..
if you cant get your hands on the chimp wrecks, consider buying the research when it is avaible in the exodus fleet shop.
I apologize if you're already aware, you can circumvent a lot of resource required research via the Exodus Fleet Technology Purchases.

Exodus fleet sells tech? Never knew. Time to check it out thx.
Btw how do you interact with the exodus fleet anyways? I keep getting popups like excessive food or bring exodus fleet to sth but never done it. New to the game thanks in advance
When you are not in the system the exodus fleet is in you can go to the galaxy map and at the top you see the exodus logo. It has a pull down menu.
Remotely you can only buy tech.
For all other purchases or hires you have to either go to their system or call the fleet over to your location ( that takes some time ).

Wow thanks
When I start a game, I queue up all tech (everything on the list), build a lab table, then one of those tables where your people cut up meat. I open up the latter table and disable cutting up everything that has a research requirement. You also want to be careful about building a robot recycling bench or whatever that is called, since it will disassemble valuable research materials such as android bodies and some robot aliens.

If you queue all the tech at the start, then any tech that has a requirement for a "body" will start researching that requirement once you have the subject corpse. After the research requirements are complete, then you can go back to the cutting table and robot bench to select whatever is no longer needed, thus you benefit from monster meat and drone parts as those are cut up or disassembled.

Good to know. I actually started research a bit late. And had both body part and robot part disassembly building up prior. Prob burnt through a few research materials.
Buy from exodus fleet. Research other stuff.

Very common thing to happen. No sweat. Complicated game.

the much more common thing newbys do is building the disection table and USE it. its a noobtrap par exelance, you only waste resources with it and pull your medics mood down.
