Space Haven

Space missions in station type game
Why can't I take a cargo container or a fighter jet on space missions? When the Sentinels are there, they shoot my transporter down so many times and I can't do anything about it.

Why are daily schedules applied on missions? I arrive there and the crew has moons above their heads? After all, they rested in the transporter for 12 hours? Regardless of the fact that the rescued cannot change their schedule during the mission, they often just stare at me there. I can change the crew's schedule, but I mustn't forget it when I return. The schedule makes sense on the station, but not on a mission.

Why do the crew in my transporter die from lack of oxygen so often? They flew with it for several hours on that mission.

If 2 transporters land on the wreck, the crew's AI will start transferring things between the transporters in a completely pointless manner, which often leads to them dying from lack of oxygen.

I don't know, but it feels really unfinished to me. Instead of being fun, the missions are quite frustrating and I tend to avoid them.

I have a feeling you'll need to Fabricate some items to help :
* Space Suit Oxygen Extender
* Oxygen Tank
* Implanted Rebreather

Our crew is only good for 16 hours (work default), I haven't look on how to extend that.
Also energy and meds. If an item fits in a storage, it can fit also in the shuttle bay. I like to load spare nano dressing and combat stims, when I'm going to assault enemy bases.

To load a shuttle with anything, draft the shuttle and dock it into the landing platform or airlock, then manually order it to load whatever item is desired. Then load the crew, and that shuttle is ready to go to an away mission (preferable with more shuttles).

If the mission is about providing assistance to a NPC ship, I like to "steal their O2" by docking my shuttles in sequence to top off their internal reserves while my crew fights.

And I agree, the worst missions are when a puny 1x1 NPC ship without any PD guns needs something from a derelict when that one and the other one are spawning bot fighters. The best course of action is to rush the mission and get the hell out of there asap.
