How do you build a bathhouse
Googled it, and all I can find recently, is a 7 hour long video stream. I don't have 7 hours to listen to some guy call out all his twitch followers name and make them feel special. I just want to know how to build a bath house, so my dwarves don't keep going to a pond on the surface.

You just need a water source, tap an aquifer or into an underground cistern with a well and they'll use that. Since it's needed by your Hospital to work anyway, it usually takes care of itself (and is more for looks/RP in larger bases) unless you wanna plan in evil areas where the rain will make people sick.

I would imagine it would be something along the lines of digging out a room with damp walls and then digging channels in that room to the room below so that the channels fill with water naturally or if no aquifer present then designate as a pond and your dwarfs will fill with water from buckets, I'm no expert so may be wrong but those are the methods I would try myself

YouTube search for the last month instead.

You'll find lots of very short very recent tutorials on enclosed fishing rooms, wells protected with gates, water redirection and etc. All of that will let you build your bath house underground.

I have a well, and they go to the pond on the surface to bathe.

Not really, because mud and contaminated water.
I suppose the real question is, how do you continually clean the water that dwarves bathe in?

If your well is more than one Z level deep, the top layer of water should be clean for dwarven washing and drinking. They can clean themselves at any water source including a well

Deep and Large water cisterns help keep water from getting all dirty. And you can make that water have a current by using a river, or aquifer with a lot more work, and let that drain of the side of the map through smoothed stone with an arrow slit thingy you avoid the danger of flooding.

If you just digging a small hole and having dwarfs dump buckets of water you'll almost always run into problems.
