What items do you place in Guildhalls?
Whats the main things needed to make a high quality Guildhall - furniture, floor, decor etc.

Early on, Rock Tables encrusted with stone or gems as well as wooden chairs. Stone statues, pedestals containing items related to their job, smoothed walls and engraved floors (I think) also add to their value.

Later on, high value pedestals studded with expensive gems displaying our proudly crafted artifacts can be an easy way to jump to grand guildhall.

A fast way to raise room value is to smooth the walls and floor, then engrave them. (In the Steam version, you can engrave constructed wall as well.) Go into the labor menu and make sure only skilled engravers are doing engraving, so that you get higher-quality (more valuable) art.

If you make the room big enough, you can get to Grand Guildhall just on the value of the engraved walls/floor, with no furniture or anything.

All the shiny stuff you take/steal from the stinking pointy-ears.

Engraved walls and statues are the go to, some high quality tables and chairs if you're feeling fancy.

All the swag as per usual, Masterwork and Legendary things are the top pick. But anything that is "rich" works. Golden chests, platinum chairs, diamond crowns on ruby pedestals. Just cram it full with mid tier statues if thats all you've got, enough of them will do the trick.

But I also place a 2 tile, or 4 tile, storage zone that only has toys in it to attract dirty dwarf children. Best place for them to learn some skills before they hit adulthood.
