How do I get past the Magma Sea??

I've been trying to get past the magma sea for a few days but nothing seems to work, can someone help???

Find a tall and wide enough adamantine vein and dig through it. I would recommend doing this if you're getting bored. :)

You should be able to do it by dumping enough water and digging through the obsidian ? Never tried. In classic we had adamantine spire to go down there, but I only saw one once since release. And the "spire" stop literally at the bottom of the magma sea,that's its upper part.

I tried using water turning into obsidian, but flowing magma doesn't seem to turn into obsidian, I was only able to get rid of the first layer of magma, either that or I didn't use enough water, from what I read though I think the only way is to go through an adamantine vein.
