Easy Anti Cheat blocks ReShade [SOLVED]

I did some tests today:

Usually with single player games I use reshade to improve graphics quality with a set of custom filters i configured.

I did so with SGW3 and worked perfectly when I played it.

Now with SGW Contracts i can't start the game because I figured out Easy Anti Cheat BLOCKS ReShade (which is just a graphics mod, not a cheat...) for some obscure reason.

Tested versions of reshade:

4.4.2, 4.3.0 and 4.5.2 all dont work.

Update 03 January 2020 - Solved:

After more tests and work I finally managed to get this working and found the reason. It's not about the Reshade version as someone said, but instead is about your own shaders.

If you like me use "unofficial" Reshade shaders (different from those you download automatically when you install reshade) then EasyAntiCheat will detect them as "unofficial" shaders and block the game from working. I also deleted the whole Textures folder content for good measure, didn't need any of them anyway.

Currently using the following shaders for reference:
AdaptiveSharpen
Clarity
Colorfulness
FakeHDR
FXAA (.fx and .fxh)
SMAA (.fx and .fxh)
Smart_Sharp
Vibrance


I have tried with even 1 "custom" shader (FidelityFX_CAS specifically which is a better version of Sharpen) and the game didn't work. But using only the regular default ReShade shaders did work with 4.3.0 version.

Guess this is the best i will get out of this. Not using custom shaders and only default ones is not very good but it's still better than nothing.

Yeah well I tried 4.3.0 and still doesn't start. I did everything right I use reshade since a long time.

I give up, guess i'll play the game with garbage colors and aliasing. Thank you devs for putting anti cheat in single player games so people that want to mod can be royally f-cked.

If you start the game directly from the SGWContract.exe in the "win_x64" file instead of starting from steam,game will run without anticheat.Hope this helps you.

And that file shall be where you put your Reshade in if i didn't remember wrong.

Had a discuss on steam and SGV about this, They bliam eachother, AND 3 part. I will never accept that crap talk. I give 14 days to fix it our mony back Had this problem . Application error 3:0000065402 coming and evry thing close.Working perfekt now
