This is the only game I have that does this, I mean some games run at 2550x1440 because they don't support ultrawide but that is something I have come to expect. At least they fill the screen top to bottom with bars on only the left and right, The Blind Prophet has bars on all 4 sides. Here's a screenshot:

It's not the end of the world but I definitely wish I could zoom it in to fill more of the dead space.
For me the problem was solved by disabling my second monitor (whitch is running at a lower resolution).
I don't have a second monitor.
Seconded.
Hey Dark God, unfortunately we can't find how to fix this, the engine seems to be the problem (clickteam fusion 2.5), we have these kind of issues on very wide or very low resolution... The engine doesn't have any options to pick the resolution we want, it's locked when we build the game basically. It's supposed to "change resolution to fit the screen" and most of the time it works, but sometimes it doesn't. I'm terribly sorry for this...
edit: I think I might have found a workaround. (At least the first time I loaded the game up the initial logs and language selection options appeared off center, but when I tried this they returned to center....and the game seems to be fine resolution wise now)
Also just to say, this is for the demo so I don't know if it'll be different for the game itself.
Go to the folder location for the game (by right clicking on the game in your steam library and selecting manage -> browse local files.
Right click the demo exe file and create a shortcut. Then right click the shortcut file and click properties. Then click on shortcut and select the text box called target. It should have something like this:
"D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Blind Prophet Demo\The Blind Prophet Big Demo.exe"
add a space to the end and then -windowmode
"D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Blind Prophet Demo\The Blind Prophet Big Demo.exe" -windowmode
Then click on the compatibility tab and and change the compatibility mode to run this program in compatability mode for windows 7. Then apply all changes.
To be fair I'm not sure if it was the -windowmode or changing the compatibility to windows 7 that helped. It didn't actually load in window mode even though that was what I was trying to do...but then it worked in fullscreen mode so I'm not complaining.
