How do you get rid of that vignette?
The black blurry edge around my screen, it is really distracting.
I tend to want as much info as possible in these kinds of shooters, and I don't like being forced into a narrower focus.
There seems to be no setting for this, is there an .ini file I can edit or a flag I can add to the executalbe?
Maybe a mod that can get rid of it?

I think if you set the HUD to minimal (can't remember the exact description in the options menu) it will get rid of the vignette effect.

sorry but no, unless it's bugged, the vignette remains with the smaller hud (or the no hud for that matter)

Vignette and low FOV both causes me a headache.
But if FOV can be customized in Prodeus, vignette is always there. So I can't play it for long at a time.

To clarify, the way it "works" is that reduced FOV and Vignette may cause some people to experience a feeling as if their head is being squeezed from all sides, as a result of limited field of vision and being forced to focus on the centre.

Yes please! I always dislike vignettes, so I'd really appreciate a graphics option to toggle it off.

What I find really distracting is the dude's face on screen at all times. Wish that could be toggled off

Being able to remove the protagonist's face from the HUD would also be an really nice option to have. Also being able to reduce the opacity on the 'helmet border' around the screen would be nice. I personally enjoy the idea (reminds me of the Metroid Prime HUD, and the Prime Trilogy are some of my favorite games ever), but it's way too opaque/bright.

Not as far as I'm aware. I recently put this on the discord, but it hasn't had a reply yet

sick and tired of entitled game devs who choose not to give customers what they want

Vignette is almost as bad as chromatic aberration and cancer.

It's been brought up multiple times both here and on Discord. That it's always ignored would lead me to conclude they won't include the option to turn it off

The devs are so arrogant

Do they also ignore requests for an actual checkpoint system that resets all the monsters if you lose a fight when it's asked about on Discord?
