XBox app is free and came with windows after all so i don't know why people say that it costs money.
If you want to play it offline, just don't sign in and play as "OfflineUser"
The 15 dollars a month on the xbox app is only the pass, not a game nor your account.
Then you can play games for 15 dollars a month, but you dont bought the game.
Go look it up.
If you want to play with random people, just use the xbox app and search for this game
You can also place a post on the xbox app so others know you want to play (most on there are not serious, but it's there) or place a post here on steam (which works a bit better)
If you are friends in steam, the guest only have to go to your profile and click Join Game (that is IF the host has started the game.)
IF all works good then ur good. Sometimes it's a bit buggy still. Remember, the co-op is kinda broken, hope they fix that sooner then the next update.
Yup, and that's the same account as your microsoft account aka outlook aka msn (depends which email you connected to it, only you know that)
If you enter in "Xbox console companion", a Windows 10 app, you'll have every achievement that you got and even a store where you can buy PC games(Windows 10 version of games). I've been playing State of Decay 2, or Minecraft windows 10 edition with friends through that xbox app since 2018 and I never paid a single cent.
It's not Bill Gates that does this, it's the new CEO that did adding all the apps to windows.
Yeah, I can't stand Windows 10. Still happily on Windows 7 for my desktop at least. I'm hoping that when we get the successor to Windows 10 (whatever the heck that will be) that it will be slightly more tolerable.
Well I used to hate Windows 8 back in the day (I still do) 'cause it came pre-installed in my laptop and it was ugly af. Windows 10 was free so I tried it and now I can't stand my old trusty favorite Windows 7 or XP.
I never was in the "O.s world" to know if they lied or something but I'm sure those problems are not here anymore. Also updating gave me a lot of possibilities speaking of compatibilities with my new PC, and some apps. E.g. Spotify is "free" in the windows 10 version, you can record you gameplay easily if you're a begginer, but the best thing is that you can play with you Xbox friends even if you don't have an xbox without paying a single cent, and that's awesome. Whatever I know you guys have an opinion and I'm not trying to convince you at all because a lot of these features/counterparts are in Windows 7, but you should give this last Windows 10 a try, as long as your system specs meets the requirements for the O.s.
Also I was thinking about a Windows 11 or something like that and I'm not sure if we're gonna see that in the next few years. I mean the new xbox will have a lifespan of 7 years like all the previous consoles had and I don't think they will want to mess with the operative system that lets players play together
And it's completely free, no worries about that.
