The freeze isn't "every ten rounds, period". Its ten rounds after the monkey is placed.
I believe by the end I had a crossbow or two up front for cheap moab damage, a druid for cleanup, a fighter plane for more moab damage, and geraldo up at the top, a tack sprayer/overdrive...somewhere or other for pickling and sharpening, and spamming gerry fire almost whenever i could. And some other stuff, like shooty turrets crammed in places nothing else could go, but i forget what. I think i even had space for a farm or two up top?
Take advantage of this being rather long for an expert track.
It's if anything easier than geared because you get 80% uptime instead of roughly 50 percent uptime. take advantage of the long track and go with more slightly weaker cheaper towers than expensive towers, and take advantage of the loops for tacks.
SHooty turrets ARE frozen based on him being frozen, as they are his sub towers, so keep that in mind
