HELP: How do I make another Map, after I finished my first?
The Create button seems to only want to edit what I already did.
this User Interface needs work, please!
I do agree on that.
Though this definitely wouldn't belong in a bugs section, since that's for the game functioning in unintended ways (though there isn't even a bugs section here, so idk where you put it)
Do you know how hard things like this are? This is way less limited than I was expecting. In what way is it too limiting for you?
I am still trying to figure out: How do I make more than one map, without erasing the first? It's not obvious how to do it
Not being able to edit after you're done is much worse. You make some beautiful map, testing on mode "X", and the realize the something weird makes it way too hard or too easy on some other mode, use using a different build. Easy to fix: Just delete/destroy the entire thing and start over, and hope it doesn't happen again.
But if you don't want people stealing your stuff, you shouldn't be using Microsoft.
PERIOD! Most games also have terms and conditions that says they own your maps and you don't, so NK could probably sell your map for money and you can't.
That's based on most over games I've played, Blizzard was the first one to really annoy me that way and now they are Microsoft. Window-11 is pretty upfront with saying that if you do pretty much anything without your computer, they get steal did and do whatever they want with it.
Back when Microsoft Hotmail was really popular, I spent a long time looking through thieir TOS. It was loaded with stuff that says "We can do <something reasonable>, <similar>, or <something shade> or <good reasons> or <other any reasons>.
I'm paragraphs heavily, but the catch is the you can take out the "or" and reduce it to "We can do <something shady> whenever any why-ever we want to. (<any other reason>).
Once I edited does the Hotmail terms, it said the copy Copy your email, EDIT IT, and then give it anyone anywhere if it was in the interest of litterally ANYONE!
So if you wrote "I miss you honey, see you soon", their TOS said they could take a copy, EDIT IT (changing it to "Death to Capitalism - I will blow up government builds now" and then publish it. It did say "reasonably edit", it said "edit". And if someone in the government wants more funding, it's in their interest to make it seem like there's a need for mode anti-terrorism spending.
Again, I did read the BTD6 terms, but I'd be more suprised if they didn't reserve those right than if they did. If they did, Steam probably has claimed something like that, and if not, Windows-11 CERTAIN HAS. And it'll be what, about 30 months before Steam probably breaks Window-10 making you move to Win-11 so you don't own anything on your computer.
Will all of Microsoft Data Gathering and Spyware and not EXPLICIT AI's, it seems like they're using your computer more than you are.
