If I do both the advanced and normal daily challenge does it count twice

I'm goin for the daily Reid and I'm wondering if it only counts once or if I can do the advanced challenge to reduce the amount of days?

You can do both (and also the Co-Op ones) and they all count towards the achievement.

In order to unlock the "The Daily Reid" achievement, you need to be completing advanced challenges and co-op daily challenges, daily challenges don't count. I hope this helps.

Daily challenges do count, unless you completed them before the achievement was added, in which case it sees it as a repeat completion of the same challenge which do not contribute to your progress (presumably to stop people just doing the same challenge 365 times in one day, but makes it harder to progress the achievement for long term regular players).
