Transferting Mobile progress to Steam
Can one transfer the progress from a mobile device to a BTD6 Steam account?

There's an email address and User-ID attached to the mobile account, but I don't know how one would transfer it to the Steam account.

I'm guessing a fresh account would be a created as soon as a Steam copy is installed, so that new "account" would likely have to be discarded or at least disassociated with the Steam account in order to allow the mobile account to become associated with Steam. (Or maybe it should be transfer before first installing, I don't know.)

Start Steam version, log in. That's it.

I assume that's something you do after hitting "Logout?"

And then can you switch back to the Steam account or another account later on by the same way? Thanks.

So I googled the question, mostly because if the solution works I want to know because I'll only buy it on my phone if I know it's cross progression.

Supposedly: "If you purchase the game on your other device, you can go into your Ninja Kiwi account settings and get a code so you can keep your progress between devices."

So, I suppose both devices must be linked with a code to the same ninja kiwi account, allowing for seamless cross progression. Let me know if this helped. Thanks!

I play on my phone and steam every day with the same save. As long as you logged into the same account on each device, when you start the game on either it asks you if you want to continue your local save or the one on the cloud (only happens if cloud is never then whats locally). It also shows how much XP each has and the cash.

No juggling with codes, that's for playing with friends.

Edit: It even auto-unlocks achievements if you got them on your phone, as soon as you load the cloud save.

just enter your password (/email, linking code etc) into the new login. you dont even have to sign out. Just remember to back up your data in the settings menu before switching. Heck, i have mobile and steam too. Its no a tedious process or anything. Just save your data and log in on the new device.

Glad it works.

Can you confirm you can take it "one step further?"

Can you juggle two or more accounts onto Steam
and onto your mobile as well as back and forth?

Thanks! :btd6darkknight:

i dont remember anything password-related but all i did to get my stuff into mobile/computer/laptop was a reference code from my device, then when i load the game on another device i enter the reference code and bam all my stuff is here

I've already bought in on my mobile. Do I have to also buy it on steam?

This is literally a question you can answer by looking it up on google.

you need to make a NK account on your save, link it across steam and mobile and you should be ok

When you open the game on another platform it asks you if you want to use your cloud save or your local save, along with time played and money available and save date etc. So as long as you last played online on that platform, the cloud save will be available for the other platform.

I am totally confused by this... I don't doubt you're trying to be helpful, but maybe you can explain...

Q: When you say: "Another Platform"... are you talking about going from Andriod to Steam? or Stream to Andriod or Steam to one of the Apple-mobiles? I assume you are, but please confirm.

Ok... here's where I'm lost...

You I transfer from Mobile to Steam, I'm going to have Steam-Cloud Save when I might not have never played of Steam Before? Or if I go from Steam to Android, I'll be offered an Andriod Clouds save I never made? (Does an Andriod "Cloud" exist?)

Oh.. wait... do you mean Ninja Kiwi's Cloud? That would make sense!

But it still leaves me confused that if you Play on Steam and Andriod (I do) and I tried to transfer to Andriod Account to Steam (I'm terrified of trying...) if you give me THREE options?

1) Local Save
2) Steam Cloud Save, and
3) Ninja Kiwi Cloud Save?

I get the "1) Local Save", and '2) Stead Cloud" options whenever I switch the Steam game from one PC to another, so I expect those to come up. So would it add a third option meaning Local, Steam-Cloud, and Ninja-Kiwi-Cloud??

Thank a lot.

I'm kind stingy with me Steam points, but if you can post a screenshot of all three options showing up on a transfer, I'll give you at least a small Steam award, as well as being very appreciate in general. :btd6thumbsup: :btd6darkknight: :btd6salute:

Any platform to any platform. Ninja have their own cloud, so as long as you login you can choose to overwrite your local save with the cloud save. It basically gives you a choice every time you login and your cloud/local are different.

Awkward question, but does that include restoring the status of you Monkey Money and Trophies?

If it does, that means someone could all of each to play with stuff, and then just do back to the restore...

For that matter, if someone were to spend all their Monkey Money on cash crates a the start of an unranked Elite Boss run, would they still keep the badge for the Elite Boss victory after they restored from the older save?

Thanks.
