Go for 502 always, 501 if you have village. The damage you gain from going 520 pales in comparison to going 501. Note that getting 500 gives the Wizard the Shimmer effect so you don't really need 502 anyways

502 is way better than 520. Intense magic adds +5 pierce making it deal far more damage than fireball and fire wall.

If the magic monkey you are talking about is the super monkey definitely 302 or 301 if you have the 020 village.

The knock back is insanely valuable specially if you will be dealing with dense rounds like 63 or 78.

302 super monkey is the go to path if you want to use super monkey in CHIMPS mode.

Assuming he is talking about the Wizard Monkey, 500 can already pop leads because of its Dragon's Breath attack

4-0-0 can already pop lead, and even if it couldnt, as ypru mentioned 5-0-0 gains dragons breath
