To the best of my knowledge (and I'll be glad if someone corrects me if I'm wrong), Bloons TD 6 doesn't use standard saving through Steam as it uses its own cloud saving through a Ninja Kiwi account you create to backup your data. I believe I've heard of people losing lots of progress due to switching PCs and not having an account, but it's real easy and worth it to make one imo: You get to keep your name in Online Play and one little button backs up everything so you don't have to worry about losing it, and you are able to create custom challenges for others to play.

Again, if I'm wrong on any of this, I'd rather someone correct me so I'm not misleading OP by accident. :thumb:

It kinda does both actually, I know I'm late but I'm here to correct.
your core save information is kept in Steam, however the folder name changes by game version. Currently it is "...\Steam\userdata\48827465\960090\local"
If you do not have the same numbered folder then just go to your steam folder, userdata, then search for "Profile.Save" it'll share a folder with "identity.bak" and some other files.

Having tested it, Identity is your level and badges on your profile - while Profile.save is your actual unlocks, money, knowledge, instas, and powers.

New location is ...\Steam\userdata\153297929\960090\local\link\PRODUCTION\current

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
