Is there any way to chat or talk with coop partners?

Not in-game at the moment. Your best bet is using the Bloons Discord servers to find co-op buddies and communicate there.

I think pre-set words could work so long as strategy-based communications were added. For example, if you could send a message with a camo-bloon or banana farm emoji, that'd be nice.

Well, that and how many online rated E (American ESRB rating meaning it is for everyone, including kids) games are there on mobile, consoles, and PC with voice and/or text chat? It's really up to parents on their end how to take care of online interactions, not Ninja Kiwi. But with how laggy it is now, I think a simple communications system would probably be the best answer and let people with better hardware communicate on Discord or whatever with their friends if they want something full-fledged.

BTD Battles was about being against people in 1v1s, so phrases like "Destroy!" wouldn't work too well in BTD6 coop.

It makes sense to me. If somebody yelled that I'd use my cooldown abilities if we were in a bloon rush. Besides, it could be adapted to the needs of BTD 6 just like Martian Games was adapted from BMC for BATTD.

do you guys know that Bloons td5 has a full chat system but was removed on the steam version?
