Solid Game.

Every Terminator fan should play this game. It's a little dated in its gameplay style but i guess its 5 years old now already before i've picked it up. This game balances a good story, enjoyable gameplay, and choices that matter in the outcome of the game.

The base Terminators are quite dumbed down, compared to what I would expect from the original Terminator films, but this was nicely explained with the fact that the T101 is actually a next step up and indeed when you did face a T101 they were much smarter and more aggressive.

Every mission can be completed in multiple ways depending on your play style and there's lots of optional secondary objectives to keep you busy too.

Interestingly, the developers really only used about 5 levels in the game and we just keep revisiting them in different ways. Potentially this could have been awful and make the game feel repetative and poorly made, but somehow each time we revisit a level it feel fresh and it took a while for me to realise it was just the same map. So i think the team deserve kudos for managing that.

My only complaint would be that the soundtrack wasnt quite 'Terminator', more 'terminator-adjacent', they just didn't quite nail it.
