Is the game worth it?

Heard it was way shorter than the remake of re2 ( which I loved that game , I had it on my Xbox one s) anyways just curious is the game worth it or is it “ wait when it’s on sale” type of game, am looking for Aleast 6+ hours or more on story but I don’t really do any 100% complete stuff

I watched 20 mins of gameplay and it looked really good but honestly I might just wait for a sale and get the deluxe edition as I have a 25 pound cs2 case just sitting there collecting dust so it could be used for this

It is good for less than 30 usd, great even if you like zombies. On a blind play through you can get around 6 hours. The game also encourages you to do multiple play throughs with challenges and unlockables. I have done about 5 runs and planning to do a few more, definitely got my money and time worth.

Bonus: If you are familiar with the game then a run can be as short as 2 hours, doing that in one sitting is quite an experience.

For me, this is the weakest remake, which is more like DLC for RE2 remake.

my first run was 7 hours.

i since put in 100 hours.

its a lotta fun if u like action games wit horror elements in em. great 90s style action story... great unlockables... fun difficulty modes...

mods rly extend longevity too, specifically the re3 trainer for me. i use infinite ammo for magnum n do nightmare runs wit different costumes for fun.

resistance was MAD fun n highly underrated, but not worth playin on pc at this point. capcom abandoned it n capcom ruined it so u need to join the discord to set up matches or join steam groups.

Yeah man I put 100 hours in re2 on Xbox and loved it and want to share the love to a more shorter/ action resident evil but still fun and scary

Yes its worth it people need to get over the original game it was a product of a different time period. This game is fluid and more streamline i love the original game i have beaten it many times as a kid. But now as a Adult i enjoyed the remake and Jill was fine a hard-nosed veteran who doesn't take crap from anyone.

On sale ? yeah its certainly is a good invesment.

Vanilla RE 3 remake is also pretty bland using mods from nexus mods spice up the gameplay significantly

If you played the original RE3, liked the original games quite a bit, you will not like this. It's cheaply made with almost equal time in cutscenes than actual gameplay, and, to boot, ALL scripted nemesis presentations. Wack. The first 15 minutes of the game is literally holding up in an 'escape sequence'. That's it. Starts off with a scripted escape sequence. The city is two half blocks, whereas, 25 years ago, the overall map of the game was far larger than this turd. They cut out two major areas to cheapen the game.

I still feel RE2 was a better game overall comparing technology over the years but RE2 Remake is one hell of a game. Here, the original RE3 was a damn good game, right up there with RE2, but, the remake version is crap. It was given to a third party studio to develop because Crapcom saw $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ after RE2 REmake sales and screwed over every single fan begging for this over the last 15 years.

Nemesis was the absolute MAN in the original RE3. Not here.
