Stuck at the giant rolling bobble head

I am pretty beat up and limping pretty bad (no healing items), and I cant seem to outrun the rolling head. Ive tried so many times im pretty positive ive hit a brick wall and it is not possible.

As soon as it lets you control jill, hit Q to turn around and sprint + dodge donw the stairs and to the right where the alley stairs are.

I should clarify im on my second run so ive done this before, certainly didnt have this issue last time.

this is the best advice youll get.
The sprint+dodge should bypass the slow down you get when running down steps.
