I played all the RE games on release date (with the exception of 1, as I was 6 at the time.. I played that in the lead up to the RE2 launch)
what did Ink Ribbons add to the experience? nothing.
what does their exclusion remove from the experience? nothing.
Would RE4 have been even more of an amazing game if it had of forced you to have ink ribbons? no.
