In this day and age, you just cannot call out a polished turd and call it a polished turd. They have rules, policies, compliance. All business work like this at this moment, this is not only a CO thing. It is simply against the code. The code is all we have separating us from the animals. Mariina has served, and will be of service. She ofcourse is part of the toxic culture forcing views and opinions onto others, this is called gaslighting, this is their modus operandi because the truth no longer sets them free. There is no known antidote other then hard liquor and an honest conversation while signing prayers in the streetlight.

I do think the tendency to immediately pull the "oh the community is toxic" card is a worrisome trend among not just game developers but film directors / producers also. Its an unwillingness to even consider that their product may not be up to par and its often used as a shield. Having said that, while frequenting the Starfield forum, I have felt for a while now that the gaming community as a whole tends to be so much more ... angrier than they used to be. Something has definitely changed. In the old days gamers would be cross with an inferior product, say their piece and move on, nowadays there is a palpable... rage.

Or it may be toxic...... I use the discussion boards to get help with issues and help others when I can. I have thousands of hours on CS1 and over 700 in CS2. If you try to point out that the game is not perfect, but running effectively, there are a handful of A-holes who will call you every name in the book and scoff at your opinions because I dont post my gamer stats. "Company shill". In the past few days I have noticed many of them have been punted, I say see you later, goodbye. I dont understand the vitriol and personal offence over a game. It is a sign of our age. The perpetually pissed off segment of narcissistic morons who cant accept other opinions.

I think many are lumping insults to Devs and being unhappy with the game together. There shouldn't be threats against them or anyone else, but some consider criticism of the game to be toxic. It isn't and it is factual. People defend it like they have no issue. Maybe your game runs great, but clearly CS2 doesn't agree with you otherwise they wouldn't be working on it and delayed content because it. There in is also the issue that they just keep stroking the flames by what they say and what they release. Take for istance this post. I hope this game makes it to the point that it can be what they envisioned. I feel like everyday that passes it gets further and further away. Only time will tell.

You know what was also cool back then? Cyberpunk on the PS5 It was so Epic my friends.... Epic. After 2 years the game was really good. It will be the same here too. No worries. Everything will be fine for CS2. But it's nice to have another game that takes time again. I'm already looking forward to the next one^^

This is the truth, game dev considers players as payment cards that should be maxed out of money, giving in return broken, not finished products or worse but at a higher price.
And consider any criticism as hate speech, discrimination, racism, not feminism friendly, anti-vege, and causes the greenhouse effect

Lmfao. Bruh 200k is 10 people. Open your mouth when you hit 900k+++. That's when x3 becomes like x .5. A lot of guys think they hit 200k and they are fine. That's what I'm talking about. The low level players screaming it's fine versus higher level players who are at million and finding it slow, boring, no more demands and BROKEN.
