Cities: Skylines 2 studio states that the community has become increasingly toxic
The community always have to be passive even when receiving a game full of problems and without the Steam workshop? :steambored:

lol

"Last but not least, we have seen a growing tendency of toxicity in our community, something we have not experienced to this extent before. Not only directed towards our devs but also our fellow community members - resulting in people hesitating to engage with the community. In the long run, this will really hurt not only the mood and the happiness of community members but also discourage creativity and modding, something we would be very sad to see."

All these problems can be resolved if they fix the game and bring the Steam workshop. It's simple. LOL
... but that would be honest hard work, requiring developer skills.

Game issues + no Workshop + bad handling of - lots of - dissenting opinions.

Well, they brought that upon themselves really.

Yeah maybe fix the game or offer refunds before you come out with cringe statements like that. Not saying harassment is justified, but refusing to take responsibility for a botched release doesn't exactly help your credibility considering the game is neither big enough nor part of a genre that attracts people prone to toxic behavior.

Also, speaking frankly, I find it pretty laughable that anybody with experience in the game industry would take time out of their day to complain about people saying mean things online, it comes with the territory. But then again, looking at the state of the game maybe she doesn't have the experience to know that.

If this were a 9/10 game, we all wouldn't be here and play the game instead.

Then it would be Rainbows & Unicorns everywhere ...

Nobody forced them to make a honey trap game + shady marketing.

It is actually more fun to hang around here, then to play the game at the moment... :airforce:
My girlfriend was playing, so I took the mouse from her hand and drew a heart with the highways, but the game crashed. This game isn't even good enough to make a declaration of love.
