It´s hard too see on screenshots but much better as a clip, if you move your camera.
But everything (cars, buildings) have a flicker effect cause snow.

If you zoom out, it´s like flashing rectangles everywhere...

Yeah, climate and disasters look ugly as f*. I play without any of them. Just disable it.
You can disable climate?
I only know disasters, they´re already off.

Lets npt forget the ugly as ♥♥♥♥ tornado. like geez i thought the CS1 tornado was bad but its better then a gmod effect ass twister
That's not to mention the fact that lawns stay green while other grass goes snowy and cars look like they got white paint spayed on them from above.

There are two ways. The easiest is by playing the latest map they released. The climate doesn’t change, it’s always sunny, it doesn’t even rain.

The not so easy way is by enabling development mode and disabling or changing the climate from the development console.

what's even worse is how vehicles drive around with snow covered windshields. Like how you even see?

But these things are fine for me, if you zoom out.
But it´s not playable with these buggy effects.

Look at my harbor, my full town is like this but much worse, if I zoom out.

It's just a map on top of the texture.. Nothing else and judging by the looks of it - made with bare minimum effort to pass as "winter".

Fact is that half the game are lacking in winter assets.
Though I would argue that were I live, there's rarely enough snowfall anymore to say this is entirely unrealistic. Pretty normal to see green grass gardens in the winter.

Yeah, they really cheaped out on the snow effect, not even worth it.
I figured out how to unlock the editor, make my own map and set that map to a 'San Francisco' climate that has no snow.

The fact there is no snow on the roads, and many other items, makes the effect incomplete and a failure. Let alone no accumulation or snow removal equipment.
But I guess that would just slow the game down more.

They just need to scrap the snow entirely.

Actually, some road maintenance vehicles spawn as trucks with a snow plough when there is snow. I assume it's just a visual thing, but it's possible it has some effect on snowy road conditions in addition to the road maintenance mechanic, but probably not.

But yeah, snow needs work.
In addition to the issues already mentioned some trees seem to have zero snow texture, while on other trees it doesn't show the snow texture until you zoom all the way in.

That said, I do still like having the season changes, I wouldn't want to see them removed.

I was wondering when someone would bring up the green lawns and tornadoes that look worse then CS1.
Anyone gotten the rectangular shaped snow in the mountains?
