Nobody can help and esp. nobody cares about crashes on your end.
People are here to read topics and help. Without any specific data = useless thread.
CPU, Mobo, memory ( incl. speed and timings ), GPU, SSD, Windows version, GPU driver version...
Adding to that - stop crying about constantly crashing while being close to 800h in the game. This is not achievable with a game crashing that often.
He just wants to cry.
That's all these forums seem for lately
It’s not like CO has given us any reason to be happy and rejoice.
Agreed. ITS A GAME! Clearly still not where it needs to be. But the amount of outrage is getting ridiculous. I have a hint for you, life's not fair, get a helmet. I have struggled through many of the issues that are talked about on the forum, I get crashes, i work on the issues and get enjoyment out of the game. Also, many 'problems' that people complain about are actually resolvable, but when people post a question the first 6 answers are "The game sucks", so when someone offers a solution they just write it off as a bug. I have said it before, if $50 is a make or break purchase in your life, you likely shouldnt be spending it on games.
For sure he is not interested to learn about something that HE did that causes problems.
If you wanna really help him join his rant and flame the devs. He is not looking for anything else.
Its a fair point about the 800h but from my experience 1300h many of they hours have been re-loading and trying different ways the get it running , I have around 10 abandoned cities due to incompatible updates. Please don't even ask me about my system (its ace BTW) because if your system is NOT adequate then it should have NOT have been sold to you. NO system requirements were posted at point of purchase.
Save often.
We PAID MONEY for this game and it's hot garbage. I've had the thing for a year, and almost none of the late-game wrecking performance problems have been addressed. Yet the studio's priority seems to be how quickly they can get to supplemental revenue generation. This is for a game that is, by any reasonable measure, inferior to its predecessor.
It's a bad product and people have a right to voice their frustration over something they paid money for, but have gotten little value from. This isn't CDPR knuckling under and fixing the problems with their game, this is a studio that just wants to pretend the problems don't exist.
Same for 2 of my colleaques. They have a lot less powerful machines and never had a single crash.
Sorry, but most times such stuff occures, people have unstable systems by...
- auto overclock in UEFI
- manual overclocking of memory, cpu, gpu or all of them without testing properly
- ♥♥♥♥♥♥ PSU that says 1000W but is a cheap box that will blow up or restart the PC when reaching 80% load ( that is nearly always the culprit )
- a TON of background programs running and people don't know about it at all
( MSI Afterburner, several ingame overlays stacked onto each other, RGB software, monitoring software... etc. pp. )
Esp. the last thing WAS and IS one of the main culprits. All the software people run in the background is interfering a LOT and introduces a lot issues.
GeForce Experience btw. is on of them. Tons of reports that without it, systems run suddenly stable.
