Beach Properties
I like there's finally a big performance bug fix patch coming but having beach properties as a minor addition to the game sounds like they're not going to do some crazy waterfront DLC. I always hoped one days in Cities Skylines that they'd make assets to develop beaches like IRL with multiple attractions and unique structures OR make something like a zoning thing for parks they had in CS1 but beach themed.

Oh well, guess we can continue to have boredom instead of pretty waterfronts.

I like how they're doing the zoning with different assets.

How we can zone beach housing or just regular housing. Looking forward to how they implement other types of zoning in the future.

Overall really looking forward to the 25th.

the big patch came along side a paid DLC just people theorised it would.

and it's gonna sell well because the game will be in an improved state and people will fear the patches will stop if the game doesn't sell well, or dlc.

Sunken cost fallacy. The train has begun rolling and it has no brakes.

One thing to note is that this is a CCP, Content Creator Pack, done by a modder and not the core team. First real DLC will come out in the next quarter. With more patches.

Why pay for a DLC that should have been in the game? Some new buildings ans palm trees.

'Its a creators pack, not a dlc'

Well, you can stick a flower up a dogs butt and call it a vase, but its still a dogs butt....lol

I think in modern gaming if there's content expanding upon core elements of the game - it's reasonable as DLC.

Though, I do miss the time companies just made huge expansions.

Looking forward to it

CO continues to underwhelm. Tbh, I think they are only doing their bare minimum to fullfill their contractual obligations with Paradox. I mean seriously - what would you expect a beach DLC for a game that has no beaches to begin with to have at least? Yes, beaches! And things you to do at that beach. But no, we get a set of 20 riverside buildings and 4 trees. This is a bad joke.

There I fixed it for you. We get 10 + 20 upgrades.
It's a massive rip off for what's suspected to be 10€.

I'm somewhat glad I got them 50% off with the Deluxe edition, but I'm still annoyed I was dumb enough to get that.. On the bright side, I will downvote the DLC too.
I will continue to down vote it all until they get their asses in gear and fix the game they released.

Ol Professor thinks they're all that and a bag of chips, going through the forums 'fixing' everyones comments...lmao

"until they get their asses in gear and fix the game"
Maybe they should hire you. You already fixed a few forum posts today alone....hahahaha
