I agree. I noticed a nice graphics improvement when I loaded my map after the game was updated.
And I was impressed with how smoothly things went overall after the update. I was expecting some real problems when I loaded my current city with a bunch of mods and all of the DLC. But everything worked fine. The only difficulty I had was that my approval rating for mail service plummeted after the update. And I solved that by adding a bunch of mailboxes to my city. I assume that was just caused by a change in the game's mail system.
I think it's about 1-2 years away (due to insanely slow updates) from it overtaking CS1 as my all time favorite game. We still don't have bike lanes, and the only people in parks are homeless.
Meh, it's estimated that there are 1-2 million owners of CS2 now and only a tiny fraction actually write on the forums to complain. Sure the game is buggy, the complaints are valid but I think the latest patch made good progress towards a working base game. I enjoy it.
