This whole game is a joke. Couldn't play a single time since release.
Give things a week or so and then try again.
"The same thing happens to me—crash after crash after crash. I've played my city for 600 hours, with a population of 800,000 and a speed of 0.8. Now, whether I use mods or not, the game crashes every 5 to 10 minutes. My speed used to be 0.8, but now it fluctuates between 0.1 and 0.2 when it doesn't crash.
I play just one game: Cities: Skylines 2. It's a wonderful game that offers incredible immersion. It feels like being a kid playing with Lego blocks. I relax and have fun with it. Please, give us Cities: Skylines 2 with the same magic as the first game. 95% of my PC usage is dedicated to playing Cities Skyline 2.
This 10th-anniversary patch is a major patch. It feels like it wasn’t even tested properly."
>>>>>>> IMPORTANT Note : 19 MAY 2025 . I have started a new city . I have 2.2 millions peoples and i run 30 fps, ( rtx 4070 50% using 6G 50 dgr ) , 13600k 90% 60 dgr , minimal parameters in 1440, ( speed simulation 0.80 ), Sometimes a have a stutter (1 by 5-6 minutes) stop 1 sec. or 2 and then continue). I like so much that game , with time i hope just the best.
Absolutely no.....this is not just a case of let it settle, this is down right gross incompetents the game is crashing all over the place. If CO/PDX want to run and own the MODs side then they need to take control of it in a manner that fits ownership, ie test it first before releasing it to the masses. The least they could do is prove that the main stream MODs do work or if not flag them up.
This patch like all the previous patches is amateur at best diabolical at worse.
