Is it possible to use a communist economic model in the game?
I am not familiar with the series, so I ask knowledgeable people to tell me how realistic the economic model in the game is and how many opportunities it provides. Is the choice of economic model free or is everything limited by capitalism and simple clicking of the necessary infrastructure objects?

No, I live in reality. You should apply for entry.
Well, I don't need to do that, because I could just go to the Soviet Union.

All the cars would be Ladss except for the mayors

All are equal only some are more equal than others under communism

Sorry, the game is based off of the free market. Not forced labor and starvation with crumbling infrastructure.

For the record, the Soviet / Communist Era could be fairly described as a period of forced labor, starvation, and crumbling infrastructure. These were really hard times for the everyday man / peasant farmer. That's not propaganda or racism --it's real history that we can learn from.

The Soviet Union which actually no longer exists and starved tens of millions while imprisoning tens of millions more behind the Iron Curtain. Sure good example.

No you can't--the Soviet Union doesn't exist anymore. It was a little broken.

I think being able to build a big wall with machine gun posts would beautify the middle of any city

However I'm a bit worried that the machine gunning of escaping civs might stop the game being PG though

LOL. Yeah, and the crops can be stolen from the farms and driven directly to all of the civic buildings.

No - they are just left in the fields to rot

Unless tractor factories are a Signature building...?

I hope they follow the rules of MMT. In that case, it should be possible to get a socialist economy running.

Nice to see a thread asking whether or not CS2 had an option for a command economy get derailed into "gomunisum bad because the capitalists told me so."

What's a "command economy"?
Is that a economy that runs on commands? Aren't all economies run using commands?
Also what's a "gomunisum"?

A command economy is one that gets commanded by a centralized government rather than market forces.
