Game crashes right before main menu (fixed)
Ever since the new update my game crashes right as I'm about to load into the main menu and I haven't been able to play for several days. Maybe its mods? I have no idea what's causing this. (fixed it by doing a fresh reinstall, i deleted everything cs2 related. i suggest backing up things like savefiles before doing this)

Neither does anyone reading your post either. Go look in the player.log and see what's causing the crash. If you don't know what that means... well, search the internet :)

I'm with you, haven't played for a week, normally when i have crashes it's when I'm playing or when I'm in the main menu but this time it's right before the main menu without any error code to identify it. Seems like so many people are having this issue and no one is answering any solutions. Normally when this does happened it's fixed relatively quickly but this time there's silence lol

At least moveIT and road builder seems to cause this. So disable mods, as always.

A lot people do say they have still crashes even without any mods. CO as always absolutely lost...

Possible. But it is also possible that they got outdated drivers after 24H2 update to windows, old mod residue etc. etc.

24h2 🤢 never a single problem with windows 11 on any of my computers except on 24h2. I refuse to upgrade to it

Delete the CO folder in user/AppData.
Backup save files first. Folder will rebuild at next start. Replace save folder to same spot.

It's always AppData if Verify and Skyve failed.

how are we supposed to save if we cant get into the game

how are we supposed to save if we cant get into the game
that isnt what he said. navigate to your appdata folder, find your saves, back them up, then delete anything colossal order/paradox related in your appdata folder, then put your saves back

Tried this but it didn't help, would still either crash or blackscreen upon main menu. I'm just gonna delete every single csii file on my pc and reinstall hopefully that works
