https://mods.paradoxplaza.com/games/cities_skylines_2?orderBy=desc&sortBy=best&time=month
I really appreciate that and it did help me to get the mod disabled, however I validated game files and now the game is crashing on launch. lol, lmao even.
For me it was this file path: C:\Users\marti\AppData\LocalLow\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines II\.cache
It really just adds to the feeling that Cities Skylines II adds almost nothing of value for people
The difference is the execution.
BG3 had competent devs, CO clearly doesn't... (also completely wrong game engine for this game since they tried to get even more simulation in cs2 compared to cs1, well, emphasis on "tried". Most simulation things have been back peddled at this point anyway)
Also, no console play so the whole thing is just ridiculous anyway. No way in he** any console would be able to run this game decently.
If the argument is "pc players outside of steam", they should have used a 3:rd party modding platform and spent the money they used for the BETA PDX modding platform to get the game playable.
But I think they should have just used the well tested steam workshop like cs1.
Without any data to back it up, I feel +80% of players bought the game from steam anyway...
Two issues with that, it sold terribly, because it is a buggy mess, most of which leads back to their awful mod manager...and this game is so far behind schedule, it is unlikely to ever come out on consoles.
They ruined the sequel, to the best city builder in years, so that they can swing and a miss at a console release.
How do they make money out of it in your little fantasy?
And it's not just consoles. Game is available on Geforce Now, Game pass and MS store.
Just goes to so how delusional you are. You make stupid, false comments and when called out, you go into some delirium and write that kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
In house/in game mod managers ALWAYS end up with monetisation, and with Paradox's insipid micro-DLC model (currently near £200 with a heavy discount, for all the content for CS1) they saw currency signs. Games don't need an internal mod manager to be modable, Games don't really need a mod interface at all, just a folder to drop mods into (note, and not on C: ffs, they MUST be in the game's root folder)
Most of the issues with this game are mod/mod manager issues, because they elected to do it in house, it has had a catastrophic effect on the game's schedule, to the point that it is unlikely it will be supported much longer.
Wait what ? I didn't even talk to you, go find some sense in your life.
Stop lying. You wrote it and you then cowardly deleted your comment. Shame that I caught it before you managed to remove it. Not man enough to stand by your words?
