Mod so that the building is not condemned and demolished
What mod should I install so that the building is not demolished when it is not in the road zone?
In vanilla this building will be doomed and destroyed if it does not fall into the "squares" of the road

Plop the Growables was working like the OP wanted before the last patch. Now, if you plop onto a non-growable area the building is instantly condemned. It is causing me great sadness that all the ploping I did to overcome the zoning weirdness is now all condemned.

And now the updated region packs are not loading, so I get to watch my cities get half-condemned because of that. And after verifying and messing around trying to get something good to happen I am browsing the forums and contemplating setting this game aside.

similar feelings man. of course you can take that mod that puts a building box that can be placed anywhere, but it will only be a model, not a living building. all this is annoying. the developer seems to be fighting with the players

Go to the options setting and look at the settings for Plop The Growables. There is an option for abandonment / condemned.
