I have a rare problem where mod icons do not show up in the UI. When that happens. I exit the game and restart it and that clears it up.
And as a general rule of thumb with mods in CS2. I've found that any time I have a problem. I restart the game, and it often (but not always) fixes the problem. Just a guess on my part. But I think the mod manager doesn't handle change well. So anytime there is a mod or game update there's potential for a problem until the game gets things sorted out.
I wonder if it has something to do with mod loading order being changed?
I have exactly the same thing, but whether the mods will work or not is a big lottery. I'm slowly getting tired of it
It will not affect the game in any way other than correct the mod issues.
Follow the instructions exactly.
Likely this issue is caused by Skyve itself or one or more other mods.
Go into your AppData folder and move your save folder out of the Cities Skylines II folder. It might be in a numbered folder that matches your Steam ID number.
C:\Users\(YourUserName)\AppData\LocalLow\Colossal Order
Then, Go back to AppData and delete the entire Cities Skylines II folder.
DO NOT delete any other folders in AppData.
Now, restart the game it should run fine until you find the mod that caused it.
Put your save folder back in AppData and try to diagnose which mod caused the hang.
Some will suggest just to delete the .cache folder, that may work but is not a stable fix.
Simply deleting the .cache folder is not a permanent fix as the above steps will rebuild all the mods and correct the one that caused the cache error
