Normal Mode - spot on

Wow, I do enjoy the normal mode as opposed to Easy. Though, I had to seriously start balancing the budget more : first thing was to slash services and go back to old city dev strategy of about 20 residential to 1 commercial and industrial.

I then made the mistake of plopping services like police and fire and had to turn them off. My only gripe is garbage collection, a necessary evil to collect the stuff pumped from my coal power station.

I’m sure I never saw any, is there no alternative to garbage collection at the start?

Same! I almost "lost" due to a fire that spread through my small, main residential space and firetrucks deciding it was better to save the far off forest fires...but regrouped and now finally making money! Also, my citizens were mad about crime, b/c there's one $$$ prison I couldn't afford and I had 7 people sentenced (they still haven't gone to prison), but at least they are happier now that they have that opportunity, I guess??

Well, we got some serious bugs in the economy right now so we don't know what that part of the game actually will feel like once it's fixed. We'll see in the next patch I suppose.
