a) what exactly ? mods are successfully loaded ? or mods loading, initialization failed ? You are kind of contradicting yourself - if it fails it cannot be successful.
b) "load my game" or "load my savegame" ?
That's a huge difference.
If you meant the latter, then it literally sounds you load a savegame immediately after you start the game without even waiting for the main menu to finish loading and initializing all mods.
The correct steps are:
1) start game
2) wait (yes, WAIT) until all mods have been loaded and initialized
3) load savegame
4) play
If it fails at step 2, check your logfiles
a) %APPDATA%\..\LocalLow\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines II\Logs\Modding.log
If a mod fails, it shows an error for that specific mod. You then need to unscubscribe from that mod.
If all mods get loaded successfully, there will be a line like
<some datetime> [INFO] Mods initialized in 0ms
b) %APPDATA%\..\LocalLow\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines II\Logs\SceneFlow.log
check here also for errors
c) %APPDATA%\..\LocalLow\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines II\Player.log
check here also for errors
