Trains on wrong side of tracks
There are trains passing through my city, and they tend to drive on the wrong side for sections of the line. This causes other traffic to have to wait at junctions for these wrong siders to clear. Anyone know how to deal with this?

When setting up the routes, you have to pay careful attention to what side if the station you want the stop to be on (assuming you have two tracks). In the rail routing tool you should be able to just click and drag the route from one side of the station to the other.

Any route I create does fine, but I do have to drop waypoints in places to force them to stay on correct side. These are trains just cutting through my city going from one city to another. Dummy traffic. I never saw it until I placed a medium and a small train station though. Starting to think is them.

I just figured it out. In places I ended up using Double RR Track (Station), which allows travel in both directions. Need to be replaced.

Good job. Easy mistake.

Play your game any way you like, but I use one way train track ONLY. Clockwise or counter clockwise doesn't matter. I give ALL stations their own bypass. Everything moves in the same direction in, around and out of the city.
