Balance of all companies are negative

All of my industrial and commercial buildings have a negative company balance and its always going down even lower. i have taxes at 0, im producing dozens of tons of excess of my raw resources, i even set my taxes to be negative for a time to try give them a bump but no matter what i do it doesn't fix the issue.
Whats going on?

Wow that sounds hectic. I've never set taxes to negative. Perhaps you're building too much and don't have enough employees? Did you check for empty buildings?

Definitely a bug. You should consider reporting on the official paradox mods.

Same with households. Low density housing sees lot of families with wretched wealth that just keeps getting more and more to minus, regardless of what you do.

ive removed all of my mods and let it run for a few months and no change. also tried a new vanilla game and same thing.

my demand is high, buildings have employees, efficiency for most is 150%. ive also tried killing off my entire industrial zoning however as soon as a new building is built the company balance gets set to like -100k.

whats crazy is my commercial zones don't have this issue nor my residential. however about half of my offices DO have the issue.

im just stumped.

Also seeing this problem. Industries are having massive negative bank balance but never seem to fail. Demand is high for all industry and commercial. Employment is filled for businesses and efficiency is over 100%

yep, a lot of these things broke with the last patch. It's been bug reported over on the Paradox bug forum.

same here, out of 750k jobs down to 620k jobs now, commercial demand is gone. City is entering economic doom spiral

You can tax you citizen 30% to balance your budget and keep taxes away from business. People are so crazy rich and happy, they don't care 💅🏻.
