Mail Sorting facility

Mail Sorting facility doesn't do anything. doesn't intake mail or anything, possibly its bugged?

It does sort, but in batches until you got enough people in your city to feed mail constantly to it.

Processing is where the bug is but thankfully it continues to work as long as you don't fret over where its going until it gets "sorted out" by CO (pun intended).

Oh how the times have changed... When I pointed out issues I was told I don't know how mail works etc. and now even the most prominent defender has turned and admits that mail is far from perfect and that cargo system can actually break the mail with its own bugs.

Bugs or balancing issues, you decide but basically all aspects of mail do work, but for example processing takes too long, moves mail only in 25 tonne batches (mostly, not always) and post offices don't send out enough vans to do deliveries in timely fashion. All this accumulates and thus the overlay bar is stuck at orange and lags always slightly behind the mail amounts

1) Improve mail van behaviour so that all vans get used (and their route AI)
2) speed up the sorting office

Those 2 would go a long way for balancing the mail system.

You simply don't deserve any of it and it is funny to watch you moan about it while if you bothered to read, you'd see that we don't actually disagree about much at all. But your head is where it is and that probably is the best place for it.

Here he comes....the guy who cant make his mail work telling people who can that they are wrong. In my last city, I had 350k population with totally green overlay and a +7 mail service. In my new city I have about 120k right now and mail works flawlessly. The fact that you just need to be right is more important than solving the issue. Knowingly and willfully arguing with people who have made it work is a bad look.

Lol. It's not about the road colour, that is easy to make green. And it's not about mail working or not, it is easy to make it work.

But check the bar on the info overlay. You'll never make that green...

The info overlay bar is not working, therefore the "Droner" is right, it will never go green no matter how well the entire system is functioning.

Ignore the bar and the troll and carry on.
