Region Packs loading forever

Hi there, I haven't played in a while (not before any of the region packs came out) but now I thought I give it another go. I subscribed to the mods in Paradox Mods through the game main menu and now they have started downloading and installing. However, The game keeps downloading and installing the packs again and again and again. I have literally left the game now in main menu for the last 2 days (not an overexaggeration) but it just keeps downloading each pack again and again and installs them. It also takes ca. 2-3 hours for each region pack to download which seems to me like a ridiculously long amount of time, and when all the packs are done, it just starts with the first pack again. Does anyone else have that problem and knows how to fix?

well, the packs are huge, several GB per pack, therefore you need to have at least a gbit line to get them downloaded fast which I guess you don't have.

The restart download is a sign that you have either an instable internet or wlan connection (very likely) or your disk may be running out of space during download/installation.

Sometime windows powersave could cause those network problems.
Since you seem to need hours to download those packs it might be a good idea to temporarily deactivate any windows powersave/energysaving feature.

It happened to me as well that, while downloading, the computer went into suspend mode and therefore completely interrupted the download.
