Reviews Suck
Can anyone here convince me this is better than the original? Are the railroads in this version better. Honest opinions only, no fan boys please.

It's still a work in progress, but yes it is playable. To me there seems to be less glitches than CS1 after the first year. I've been playing city builders since the original SC. Yes, I'm that old. Is this one perfect no, but I can seriously point out some flaws in the original and some SC games.....

It is lacking features, but there are no expansions as of yet.

Don't consider buying until there is an asset editor.

Mostly it's the reviewers that suck IMHO.
Lots of potential, lots of frustration. I had been on a run where I had few issues other than the occasional crash. Last couple days it just wont start. I am about to do the uninstall, reinstall dance.....again. At one point, I went back to CS1 and I just couldnt play it. I have almost all DLCs and used mods extensively and made some pretty nice cities. I just didnt like going backwards on mechanics. I miss all the great assets I used to use, but still prefer CS2. Ask me again tomorrow, I may change my mind.

nah, I sitll have hopes that the community can fix this game if they ever get the ability to. At least they could possibly make it a decent city painter to keep people busy while CO maybe spends the next half decade fixing bugs and adding things that should be in already (like bikes and animations).

But thats only if CO doesnt abandon this game or the community gets completely tired with the lack of feature updates that people actually care about.
