Game needs more content and updates!
So the last big update was in November 2024, seems like they don't really care anymore about the game? This game really needs more optimization updates and way more content that I miss in a city builder. Yes there are mods, but I don't want all the content through mods I want the content in the base game!

Considering the stability issues the game currently has, I'd really rather if there was an update that it fixed those. I don't know how possible that is, I'd take some more road tools and like moveit in the base game instead.
Go visit the store page and check out their road map. More stuff coming.

I did and still nothing is coming since months, not even a update for what they're working on

Well if you read it then you would have seen that what they are working on is the Bridges & Ports expansion to go live in Q2 2025 and more radio stations.

And with that they are also working on bugs as they can, I assume (based on the patch notes patterns they release).

And of course we're getting a few more Region Packs very soon. Yes, while those are outsourced to outside artists they still require CO personnel to add things in there to make it work.

But to be honest, okay bridges and ports is nice but 3 radio stations? That's a joke in my opinion and nothing that should take almost almost half a year. I just would like more transparency what they doing and what they're working on or how long it takes

Sure. I don't disagree. I would like bug fixes and new content added to the game every week. Even if they tell you all these things, would it change anything? Perhaps you would be inspired to play more? Play regardless! :)

Anyway, hopefully you get/find what you need. Have a good one.

So you want all region packs in the base game ?
That would make the game already now almost the size of 100 GB and would definitely increase the minimum/recommended system requirements.
Is this really what you want ?

The Content Creator Pack DLCs were also outsourced.

And I get the feeling even the B&P assets might be outsourced as well, only the new ingame functions this DLC is supposed to implement might be really created by the devs.

The second a new DLC is announced the community will cry that it's just a cash grab for a broken game.

You have no idea what they're working on and neither anyone but them. B&P was announced and pre-sold as going live in Q2 2024, a year ago. Then it was delayed to Q4 2024. Then it was delayed again (for obvious commercial reasons after the No-beach Houses outrage) to Q1 2025. Then it was delayed again to Q2 2025.

This expansion has been complete for a long time, they just don't want to release it as long they get a bad reputation and a 50% rating on Steam.

Very few bugs are fixed and more are introduced.

The region packs have been complete since 2023 and were supposed to be a marketing incentive . But they couldn't release them as long as the full asset editor wasn't released. They finally found a workaround at PDX. Noone at CO is working on these region packs. Not a single employee. All the post-production work is done by PDX with PDX_Peanut as Content Creator Manager.

If the DLC's include a lot of new stuff I don't think so. I can understand that people were angry when they said they'll release Bridges & Ports as an DLC because it was just not enough for an DLC, it's something they should add for free. But how I said, if they add a lot of good stuff via DLC okay I'm fine with it and I would pay a fair price for it.
The game is rock solid for me. And with the region packs that have been released so far. I'm able to have a lot of variety in my city. The game is pretty much worth the money I spent. I'm not trying to rub it in or anything like that. Just wanted to mention that not everybody is having problems.

I don't have problems or think the game is bad, I'm just waiting for some more content I miss in the game. I didn't played a lot but the time I spend was good and fun so far. Wasn't even hate from my side, just some things I would like to see.
No, what the game really needs is an asset editor. Like, a year ago.

Are you crying?

This! I keep trying to play it, and get annoyed when I have to keep remaking intersections when in the previous game I could save and reuse them.
