Low download speed

Guys, does anyone have a problem downloading mods? Regional packs take 2 hours to download:/

Nope. Region packs aren't instant,but do take a little time to download, I'm on a 100 Mbs plan, unlimited downloads, and it usually tracks about 10% high.

How fast is your internet in general ?
Those packs are several GB in size - all together more than 30 GB.

Even downloading at full capacity on a 100mbit line you need already at least 40 minutes.
The slower your connection or available bandwidth, the longer it takes....

Also, if you have an instable connection it might happen that a pack download interrupts and then restarts at beginning.

I have 600 Mb/s plan. After a long time I wanted to play again so I installed the game. The game all but itself decided to download all mods I installed back then, including two regional packs. The overall download speed was about 1-5 Mb/s. Sometimes it jumped to 10-15 Mb/s but a very short time. I took enough time for me to decide, that I have better things to do than wait eternity until the mods will download again. So yes, the download speed, at least for some people is WAY TOO LOW from some reason. I have no problems with internet, my speed test shows 617 Mb/s download speed.

I have 1Gb/s fiber optic, currently downloading USA southwest, 3h downloaded 36%, network usage 1-15Mb/s. (speedtest: 948Mb/s D, 306Mb/s U, 8ms)
