If you have a traffic light and crosswalk, the pedestrians will always wait for the traffic light.
If not, sure they’ll run quicker but given the number they might also form a continuous flow which blocks every car trying to cross.
But sure, in his case there’s no need for traffic light and crosswalk, as there’s no building near it.
or.. get run over.
I love this game but there are a countless cases like this where a lack of pre-release playtesting is evident.
The lack of a priority road status, a base game function in CS1, is unexcusable.
Also, being able to add traffic lights to roundabouts would also be a great help....
Who puts a roundabout that close to a highway intersection and not making the intersection as a roundabout? And go check what creates all that traffic. I absolutely agree it has its flaws and need some updates, but I also see not really smart roads.
I didn't like it, and i still don't, but it had to be otherwise it caused problems elsewhere.
I did manage to rebuild some of it to a better looking layout when i removed the roundabout, i just used that screenshot (That i took for an entirely different purpose) because it's one of the few i have with a roundabout in it.
You won't be the only one who thought "what the hell is that?"
