Cims use industry instead of comercial to buy goods
This is typical sityation when couple of hundreds cims go at one warehouse to buy cars. https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198867692821/screenshot/2246794764004675695/ Why do they do that? Why not going to commercial shop? I was watching for it, for in-game hour less then 10 cars left the shop, which had 140 employees. I tried lowering taxes for commercial to zero. Nothing helps. Cims continue go shopping to industrial area. For cars, for furniture, etc... And commercial demand is always full. No matter what taxes are.

At this point, who really knows what the Cims are doing, it's quite obvious that a large part of this games simulation isn't working as intended, so I assume that the simplest answer is the truthful one. "Cims are looking for a product" and don't care if it's at a shop or a factory, they just 'Search for product. Product found. Path to location. Obtain product.'

Zero is probably right in this regard. I've had similar issues with semis trying to load/unload vehicles in mass at a single warehouse that was empty. The same product is giving me High Resource Costs, even with low taxes. Vehicles. So whatever, at this point. It'll fix itself or I'll bulldoze the automotive industry and see what happens.

With 134k citizens, just now 1500 (!!) of them arrived in three vehicles warehouses in industrial zone. That is incredible! Three metro trains with 500 people in a row...

Maybe they're having a flash sale? Or maybe they buy the car at some small shop and then go to the warehouse to pick it up.

Sounds like a friend of mine. A modern game indeed. Evolution, mate. That's all. I bet soon every product will be collected in the port or on the airport, because all is coming from you know where.
