It may not be used for savefiles very often, but there are games which *do* store their savefiles there.
Even Manor Lords does so
Unfortunately, the "My Games" subfolder in your Documents directory which Microsoft has introduced years ago has never become a standard; technically 90% of Game Developers don't use this folder. They store their files whereever they want.
And honestly that's what I don't lke as well. It makes it pretty difficult to backup your savefiles.
