It will play, for a while. You will reach a limit at some point where it will just stall and lag. It uses a ton of resources. I have a Ryzen 7, 64 gb ram and a 2060 super card. Around 350k population it becomes fairly unplayable.

Thanks mikelleh63. Is there a trial version as well?

There is no trial version.

Steam offers 2 hours gameplay and 14 days to do a refund. Be aware some issues are more apparent only on larger cities though, namely performance slowdowns due to population growth.

You meet minimum computer specs, and chances are you will be able to play.

That does not mean exactly a smooth ride, however.

The main weak link would be the GPU, you may have to keep graphic settings in low for the game to be playable.

CPU is also on the lower end, so simulations slowdowns on larger cities are bound to occur earlier.

Well, there is - and there isn't. What I mean is that if you have a Microsoft Store Game Pass, you can use it with that. Depending on how long you want to use it like that will determine whether you end up wanting to buy it or not. If you like it - you could then buy it from the Microsoft Store.
