Will there be a multiplayer in SC 2 (it doesn't matter in what form - mod or full-fledged)?

I think the game really needs multiplayer, my experience playing with friends through the mod in the first part was amazing. Besides, the game gets boring very quickly and the online mode could significantly enrich the gaming experience of each of the city skylines players.

The first part also had multiplayer (as a mod) and it was a very good gaming experience. I didn't have any problems with my teammates, although it depends on each individual
