keep in mind, the pack is almost 7 gb in size. To unpack it, it needs another 7 gb for all those temporary files before it can delete the pack itself.
Though it's extremely unlikely in 2024, do you use somewhere FAT32 filesystems and those temporary files end up there ? FAT32 can handle only files up to 4 GByte. If you try to put a file larger on it, you might get the out of space error as well..
The main problem of this pack is, it's too big... they should have split it into several smaller ones, probably for each zoning type one. Those huge files can cause problems for downloading especially since PDX site seems not to support resume = if download interrupts, it start from beginning.
it fails after anywhere between 3-5 min 40% or so into the download. Very odd, then it claims that either;
-------------
A - The Paradox mods service failed (When installing from within Paradox mods itself typically a 'fresh install attempt' when adding it to the active playset)
-Appears as a pop up box saying couldn't add mod-
B - The internet was disconnected (When it fails on Main Menu clicking on Paradox mods or the download itself whilst download is in progress and is already in the playset)
-Appears as a x2 pop up box on the main menu one about the internet one about re-syncing-
C - The install failed (Main Menu without clicking anything whilst download is in progress and is already in the playset)
-removes the progress bar from the install circle and replaces with a red X that disappears-

All of these messages seem to be linked to the same problem but vary as to which screen you have open when it fails.
I've managed to remove the mod from the playset so I can atleast play the game if without the UK pack by allowing the download to fail through fail B and instead of hitting retry sync I clicked to go to library where I could remove it from the active playset (Skyve if you have it installed is easier though just deactivate it and remove it).
For now it's all I can do to submit a bug report on their forums which they linked a few news posts ago and pray they get around to it.
i tried to remove it the same way but in the library it was not subscribed, but every time i restart the game it will start to download and fail every time
