School buses
School buses should really be added to the sim during morning rush hour and afternoons when schools out, kind of nonsense elementary school kids either take the city bus or a car to school.

I think it is best to try and make it so the children can walk to their schools. I remember reading that somewhere.

Where the distance for walking is greater than 600m, like in suburban sprawl or rural residential areas, I make my own school bus system using a yellow-orange color for the bus and dedicated routes from the schools. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3283325808

Put all of your school buildings next to each other, and run a subway.

ya im saying for the sake of realism there should be school buses that work the same way garbage trucks police cars etc work where the building just has some that spawn when needed

Realism? I mean maybe from a American pov :P most of us had too walk too the school, unless it was like 40km away, but then it was normal busses running school routes :P also got normal ppl on them ^^ from my pov school busses are unrealistic xD

Oh, yeah, that's a good idea. I thought you were trying to solve traffic.

Just residential styles got both tbh, Trailer parks, or houses :P it's still NA based style. so I guess School busses are fair too ask for xD Like the school system elementary-high school system.. that is NA not EU, and only one variant. Highways are NA based, gotta use seperated roads for more lanes, no 6 and 7 lane connected highways like here available. lotsa the service builds are also in a visual NA style.

When I grew up as a kid there were no school buses, we had to either walk, ride a bicycle or take the city bus. Remember what country this game was made in and it makes more sense :)

For a company that prides itself on traffic/mass transit simulation, i agree. Not having school buses to add to an American build is and has been a huge miss.
